Ingredients:
- 500g of wood apples
- 750ml of water
- 200g of sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of black salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of roasted cumin powder
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- fresh mint leaves for garnish
Kitchen Tools Needed:

Instructions:
- Start by cutting the wood apples in half and then scoop out the pulp on to a mixing bowl.
- Pour the pulp mix it with water in a blender. Blend until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into a larger bowl straining through a fine sieve to get rid of solids, use a spoon to push down and get as much juice as possible.
- In the other bowl, take the mixture of sugar, black salt and roasted cumin grain powder.
- Pour this mixture to the strained wood apple juice and stir until the sugar dissolves.
- Add more sugar as the sweetening level may be reduced based on this personalised cooking oil recipe.
- Finally add the lemon juice and stir in order to mix all the ingredients well.
- For the better taste, cool the drink about 15 minutes in the refrigerator before serving.
- Strain the chilled wood-apple drink and pour into glasses and serve with fresh mint leaves.
