Ingredients:
- 3 cups of long-grain rice
- 6 cups of water
- 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Kitchen Tools Needed:

Instructions:
- To start with, in a large pot add 6 cups of water and bring to boil.
- Stir in the rice to the boiling water and let it simmer for roughly 15-20 minutes or until soft. Drain any excess water.
- To the cooked rice add butter, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and black pepper in the same pot. Stir well to combine.
- Finally add the cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese stirring until the cheese have melted and the rice uniformly coated.
- Spoon the cheesy rice mixture into a greased baking dish and level it.
- First of all, you should turn on the oven at a temperature in-between 175°C and 350°F.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until the top of the dish is golden and there is a layer of cheese on the surface, bubbly.
- Take from the oven and let it stand for about 10 minutes before proceeding with serving. Garnish with chopped parsley.
