Carl Pei, one of the co-founders of OnePlus, has started a new company called Nothing

He is now planning to start his own company, which will be called Nothing.
Tony Fadell, an iPod inverter, Kevin Lin, co-founder of Twitch, Steve Huffman, CEO of Reddit, and Casey Neistat, a well-known YouTuber, have joined to invest in the new company.

The new Nothing is a London-based technology company that is expected to launch their first smart devices later this year.

However, according to a question raised by The Verge website, Carl Pei did not elaborate on what these smart devices are called or what companies they intend to compete with.

You may already know that OnePlus has in many cases been working on launching mobile phones similar to the ones launched by Oppo.

OnePlus 5 and Oppo R11, OnePlus 6T and Oppo R17, OnePlus Nord N100 and Oppo A53 are similar devices, and you know that BBK Electronics is the parent company of both companies.

However, he added that Nothing is a completely independent company and that his company has its own research & development department and is ready to make its own products instead of copying the products of another company.
